The intelligent inspection project at the Pala 500-kV transformer substation of the Electricite du Laos Transmission Company Limited (EDL-T) has officially been put into operation. As the first intelligent substation inspection project in Laos, this milestone marks a significant step in the digital and intelligent transformation of the Lao power grid.

Launched in mid-January and completed within two months, the project integrates advanced technologies such as dual-light camera inspections, fault identification, and digital twin systems. The system automatically detects malfunctions and alerts operators, enhancing the real-time monitoring capabilities of the equipment and improving overall inspection efficiency.
